1. When To Start Your Journey
If You are travelling to Naran from Islamabad make sure you set off for your journey somewhere between 5pm to 7pm. You will reach kaghan at midnight but Don't worry they will be expecting you. Hotels and Restaurants will be awake to welcome you. Eat your dinner, have some rest and Continue your journey next day as early in the morning as possible, to avoid traffic.

3. What to take with you in luggage?
You can't go to Naran with your formal summer dresses. Because the temperature there sometimes drop to even -7 degrees Celsius. yes, and you need to make sure that you are carrying enough warm clothes, jackets, gloves and shoes for your self and others. If you want to enjoy your trip instead of feeling only cold, you need warm clothes.
4. Extra Fuel?? but WHY??
From Kaghan to Naran you will see a couple of Fuel stations on the side of the road. Make sure you fill your tank because things get a little out of hands once you cross Naran. If you have jerrycans make sure to fill at least one to be on the safe side. Between Naran and Babusar top your car is more likely to consume 3x of the fuel as compared to normal mountain roads. Roads are extremely steep. Even if you find some individual selling fuel. You will end up paying two times the actual price. So beware.
This is the most asked question "Where to stay?" well! you can find numerous hotels in Naran. Some are in the main Naran market and some are on the road which leads to Jheel saif ul malook. Two things to consider here, weather or not you wanna stay near market? If yes then you should consider booking a hotel room in the main market. If no, then you can book a room away from market on jheel saif ul malook road. Prices for rooms range from 8,000 a night to 20,000PKR depending upon which hotel you choose.
6. Consider Eating Raw Onion
yes, consider eating raw onion. If you visit Lake Saif-ul-malook or Babusar Top(or any high altitude place) you may suffer from Vertigo and Dizziness. Vertigo causes a person to feel movement when there is not. It may also cause feeling of tilting, spinning or falling, nausia, vomiting and even trouble walking and standing. Disequilibrium, the loss of balance or feeling unsteady when you walk. To avoid all this you need to eat a piece of Raw Onion. It will keep you in your senses specially young kids. Also it will keep your heart healthy. You can ask any resturant or someone selling snacks for a raw onion.
